Alyssa Wolf Wins GlenOak Invite In OH No. 3 Time Of 18:34.18


Alyssa Wolf got her senior cross country season off to an impressive start with a first place showing in the DI race at the GlenOak Golden Eagle Invitational.  

Wolf out-paced a strong field that consisted of DI and DII/DIII athletes and secured her victory with an Ohio No. 3 time of 18:34.18.  Trailing Wolf in the standings was 2018 OHSAA Early Season Invitational DI champion, Kaylie Kenne of Highland-Medina.  Kenne posted an Ohio No. 4 time of 18:38.58.  

Wolf indicated following the race that she'd like to break 17 minutes for the 5K distance and record a top placement at the State Championship this season.  The Brunswick athlete has lined-up at the last three state meets and owns a pr of 18:00.11.
