Pickerington Central's Brady Johnson earned the win at his home invitational this past weekend, as the senior posted a time of 16:15.80 for his second victory in as many weekend's. On September 15th, Johnson put down a season's best clocking of 16:06.50 at the Otterbein Invite. That result stations him at No. 33 in the state rankings for 2019 grads.
Johnson improved upon his runner-up result at last year's Tiger Invite, where he followed teammate and current Syracuse University athlete, Matt Scrape in the standings. Along with his two triumphs, Johnson has collected a pair of fifth place finishes season. He went 16:26.40 at the OHSAA Early Invite and 16:27.20 at the Mason Invitational.
