The A2 Coaching Legends Classic took place this past weekend at Huron Meadows Metropark in Brighton and featured 5K contests in the varsity and reserve divisions.
Boys Gold Division
Plymouth's Carter Solomon secured first place due to his 15:24.80 effort. This was Solomon's third race win of the season. The junior is currently ranked sixth in the state from his 15:24.00 result at the Running Fit - Detroit Mercy Titans Invitational on September 8th.
With his Michigan No. 12 time of 15:31.80, Jack Wilson took the runner-up position. The Romeo junior has finished in the top 3 in all four of his races this season.
Rounding out the top three was Plymouth's Patrick Byrnes, who posted a time of 15:36.50.

Boys Blue Division
East Lansing's Andrew Lane recorded a time of 16:14.90 to earn the win. He was followed by Carson Laney and Jacob McDowell in the standings. Jonesville's Laney went 16:21.40 for second and McDowell of Saginaw Heritage placed third with his 16:37.70 clocking.
