Joe Ballas continued his outstanding cross country season at Saturday's OHSAA District - Cedarville meet. The senior from Fort Loramie captured the Division III race win with his time of 16:16.21 and he guided his squad to a regional qualification berth due to their second place showing. Fort Loramie recorded 88 points to place just behind West Liberty-Salem, who posted 82 points.
Ballas has secured three victories and six top 5 finishes in his eight starts during the 2018 campaign. He is ranked seventeenth in the state due to his 15:38.60 effort at Centerville's Saturday Night Lights meet.
