Jenny Seas executed the rarely achieved four-peat at this past weekend's District - Rio Grande meet. Seas, who was the district champion in 2015, 2016 and 2017, recorded a time of 19:38.28 to earn a resounding win in the Division III contest. Her clocking was 1:19 ahead of runner-up, Hannah Kerr of Zane Trace. In addition to the individual triumph, Seas led her squad to the team title with 78 points.
The Peebles senior has collected three victories and a fourth place finish in her four starts this season. Her season's best time of 18:25.80, which she posted at the Trinity / Valkyrie Invitational, ranks her in a tie for tenth among the state's 2019 grads. Seas' career highlights include a pair of trips to the State Championship meet and a pr of 17:33.90.
