Ted Haydon Classic Breaks The Ice For The 2019 Season

Warren HS sophomore Annika Bynum immediately made her presence felt immediately by clearing a personal best 5-5 in the high jump. Bynum was not satisfied with the nation's 14th best effort on the very young stages of the indoor season, she attempted and narrowly missed 5-7. Watch for this young lady progress throughout the winter.

Whether you like it or not the 2019 track and field season has started in Illinois. The tradition unofficially has gone back several years. But first, let's give credit to former U of Chicago coach Ted Haydon who founded the track club and meet. Athletes from around the state and region have congregated to the Henry Crown Field House for more than 66 years.
