Dalton Shepler / Vandalia-Butler
Shepler made the trip west to Nevada and claimed fifth place at the National Summit with a vault of 15-10. The junior class athlete is ranked first in Ohio from a previous performance this season - 16-0 at the OSU Buckeye #1 meet.
Michael Shoaf / Rocky River (University of Notre Dame)
Shoaf entered the VA Showcase as the top seed in the shot put and he lived up to his billing. He took the event win with a throw of 59-4.5.
Also at the VA Showcase, Heath recorded a time of 7.08 to take second in the 55m dash and she placed eighth in the 200 due to her 25.91 effort.
Arbaugh won the weight throw competition at the Sid Sink Open due to his 64-2 mark. He's ranked first in the state from a previous throw this season - 68-8 at Dave's Running Series #2.
