The state rankings experienced a shake-up following Wednesday's Blue Division #2 meet at SPIRE, as several top times and marks were achieved by athletes representing the Northeast Ohio Indoor Track and Field Conference.
In the 4x800 contests it was all Mentor, as both Cardinals squads established new state best times for 2019 - the boys in 8:14.90 and the girls in 9:43.26.

Boys - Andrew Kobasko, Cameron Rigsby, James Ferro & Nick Kozlowski
Girls - Rylee Yocum, Diona Ramos, Maddie Hull & Anna Evans
In the individual events, Paige Floriea, Olivia Howell and Savannah Dennison all posted big-time results. Mentor's Floriea leaped 18-11 to establish a new Ohio #1 mark in the long jump event. Solon's Howell and Dennison, who's an eighth grader from Lake County, recorded the top times in 1600 and 3200 competition this season with their 5:11.84 and 11:09.91 efforts. When entering converted 1 Mile and 2 Mile times into the mix, both athletes reside at number two on their respective lists. Howell behind Hilliard Davidson's Ellie Tighe and Dennison trailing Taylor Ewert of Beavercreek.
