Paige Floriea Jump US No. 1, Becomes First to Clear 20-0 in 2019
If this prediction comes true, then Mentor's Paige Floriea will officially enter the conversation attempting to answer the question, "Who is the best long jumper in the country?"
The current US No. 1 mark is held by Aniella Delafosse (MD) at 19-10, and Floriea is currently sitting at 19-1, from Thursday's NEIOTC Blue Division #3, but the sophomore phenom cleared 20-0 this spring and has the chops to do it again. The SPIRE Institute facility could be just the setting for her to leapfrog some of the elite athletes currently ahead of her.
