Ohio's Sophomore Sprinters - The Grad Class Of 2021 Is Fast!

(MileSplit spoke with Paige Floriea following the NEOITC Blue Division #1 meet)

Paige Floriea is widely known as the state's best long jumper, but the Mentor athlete's track skills should not be overlooked. She currently resides on top of Ohio's sophomore class rankings in both the 60 and 200 events due to 7.69 and 24.71 clockings. Floriea has shared with MileSplit that she feels like the sprints enhance her abilities in the long jump and vice-versa. While she'll be the odds on favorite to take the D1 State Championship victory in the long jump on March 2nd, don't count her out in the 60 and 200. She's ranked eighth and second, respectively with all divisions combined.
