CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Former Cedarville University decathlete Mike Marsh will represent the United States at the Thorpe Cup in Germany on Aug. 8-9.

The two-day team affair features the USA vs. Germany in combined events.

Marsh is one of seven athletes on the American squad. Earlier this summer, he placed 8th in the men's decathlon at the USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Marsh was a 2001 NAIA Outdoor All-American in the decathlon and was a two-time indoor All-American in the pentathlon. He holds the school record in both events.
