Ohio State University bound Jaydan Wood leads Ohio's 100-200 combined rankings.
Ohio's top sprinters have had a strong season thus far with fast times being produced in the 100 and 200 events. In men's action, all athletes inside the 100m Top 40 rankings have dipped under 11 seconds and in 200 competition, a dozen sprinters have gone sub 22. On the ladies side, four elites have recorded times of 12 seconds or faster in the 100 and a trio have broken the elusive 25 second mark in the 200.
With the onset of May and, ideally, better weather to compete in ahead, expect the state's top performers to continue to lower their times as the postseason schedule looms.
