Falcons Picked to Finish Ninth in Preseason Poll

The Bowling Green men's cross country team was picked to finish ninth in the preseason Mid-American Conference coaches poll released on Tuesday, August 25.

Kent State, which finished third at the MAC Championship a season ago, returns five runners from last year's team and was picked to win the conference.

Miami (second), Central Michigan (third), Eastern Michigan (fourth) and Buffalo (fifth) round out the top five.
Christopher Moody, the Falcon's top runner in every race during the 2008 season, returns along with five others who ran in the MAC Championship.

Bowling Green will open up the season on Friday, September 4 at 7 p.m. when the Falcons travel to Toledo for a dual meet.
