Miami University commit, Andrew Schroff recorded a time of 4:16.30 to earn runner-up honors in the Emerging Elite 1 Mile contest at New Balance Nationals.
Schroff's latest effort follows a strong showing at the State Championship meet two weeks ago at Jesse Owens Stadium, where he placed second in the Division 1 1600 in 4:15.71.
The recent graduate of Olentangy Orange will officially conclude his high school career on Saturday when he lines-up with his teammates in the Championship Division's 1600 Sprint Relay.
