Greenon rising senior, Sean Glaze earned a second place finish in the 3000m Race Walk event at New Balance Nationals with a 13.40.82 clocking.
Glaze's strong performance comes after only two weeks of race walk specific training this season. He contested 800, 1600 and 3200 races during the outdoor high school campaign.
Glaze, who also races cross country in the fall, is no stranger to the bright lights and high pressure posed by the national meets. He took the 3K RW win last year at NBNO (14:24.95) and he's a two-time winner of the 1 Mile RW at New Balance Nationals Indoor.
