With XC approaching fast, it's time to register for PTXC 11!
Back for yet another year at Kutztown's Farm Course in Berks County, PTXC 11 will bring together some of the state and region's best for a great early-season battle on some rolling hills.
The defending Nike Cross Nationals (NXN) boys champions from Loudoun Valley (VA) will return with another loaded squad, looking to defend their title. LV's girls' team are also the defending PTXC champions. Other strong teams like Friends' Central, Council Rock South, Danbury (CT), Charter School of Wilmington (DE) are already signed up!
Last year at PTXC 10, Loudoun Valley put on a show in the boys' race, capturing the team win with 25 points, led by individual champion Jacob Hunter. On the girls' side Taryn Parks of Greencastle-Antrim ran to one of the fastest times in meet history, while the Loudoun Valley girls earned the win in a close one over Central Bucks West.
PTXC has been a staple on the schedule for a number of Foot Locker Nationals qualifiers and NXN-qualifying teams. This year should be no different! Of course, MileSplit will have tons of photos, race videos, interviews and more from the meet!
