John Carroll Athletics To Provide Media Coverage For 40 Regular Season Fall Sports Contests

40 John Carroll fall sports events will be available through various forms of media coverage this year
The John Carroll University athletic department has announced that it will provide media coverage of 40 regular season athletic contests this fall through campus radio station WJCU, SportsTime Ohio, and the jcusports.com website.

The broadcast schedule kicks off with a pair of soccer matches on September 1.

Nine football games will be available live over the air on on WJCU-FM (88.7), and one on the WJCU-2 audio only internet feed (the opener against Thomas More). The five home games will be available live through a subscription-based video webcast feed. The September 19 game against Baldwin-Wallace will be televised on a tape-delay basis by SportsTime Ohio at 11:00 p.m. on the same night of the contest.

Eleven men's soccer games will be broadcast live as part of the plan -- eight through the video webcast and three on the WJCU-2 audio only internet feed. The match on September 12 against Hiram will be taped for a SportsTime Ohio broadcast that will air at 1:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13.

Ten women's soccer matches will be accesible live this year -- seven through the video webcast and three on the WJCU-2 audio only internet feed. The game on September 12 against Case Reserve will be taped for a SportsTime Ohio broadcast that will air at 11:00 p.m. that same night.

Nine volleyball matches have been tabbed on the fall broadcast schedule -- eight through the video webcast and one on the WJCU-2 audio only internet feed. The Blue Streaks' home date on October 27 against Mount Union will be taped for a SportsTime Ohio broadcast that will air at a time and date to be determined.
