Ohio-based athletes, Johan Meyer and Bryce Conley took their talents down to the Bluegrass state this past weekend to test themselves at the highly competitive Trinity / Valkyrie Invitational in Louisville.
Meyer, a senior from Mason, and Conley, a senior from Tippecanoe, led a group of eight runners who eclipsed the 16 minute standard. Meyer earned the victory in a new personal best time of 15:40.60 and Conley trailed closely behind in second with a 15:41.70 mark.
Meyer's effort stands as a Ohio No. 16 (overall) for the 2019 season, while Conley owns the state's fifteenth best time from a previous performance (15:39.20 at the Tiffin Cross Country Carnival).
