The John Carroll University women's soccer team faced a tough opponent Saturday as the undefeated Cortland Red Dragons posted a 5-1 victory over the Blue Streaks in the opening round of the RIT Rachel Miller Classic in Rochester, New York.

Rachel Grdina at the 52:48 mark of the second half. Grdina's goal is her second of the season.
Cortland notched all of its markers in the second half, scoring three of their five goals in a matter of 9:16 after Grdina's goal had cut the JCU deficit to 2-1.
JCU outnumbered Cortland in corner kicks 6-3.
