A pair of Ohioans find themselves in the running for the latest MileSplit National Performer of the Week nods. Taylor Ewert and Matt Duvall are in contention for the honors after scoring big individual wins over the weekend at the Nike Valley Twilight Invitational and the Les Eisenhart Invite.
Ewert led Beavercreek to the NVT team title with 53 points, as she clocked 17:11.70 for first place individually. Duvall joined Shelby's Caleb Brown as Ohio's second runner to dip under the 15 minute barrier this season with his 14:57.90 winning performance at Thomas Worthington. Duvall's Pickerington North squad were victorious with 68 points.
