Unioto left no doubt who was the top Division 2 men's team competing at OHSAA District Rio Grande on Saturday. With a 38 point first place showing, four individuals in the top 10, all five scorers finishing in the top 16 and a 16:49.31 average clocking, the Shermans appear poised for a big postseason run.
Not that this should come as a surprise, though. They currently sit at No. 2, trailing only the formidable group from Woodridge, in the latest OATCCC Poll and within the 'MileSplit XC Team Scores' for Division 2, it's also the number two slot, state-wide, where they find themselves stationed.
