Results Hub: Lakota East Keeps Unbeaten Season In Tact

The girls from Lakota East were at it again on Saturday. A week after securing the Greater Miami Conference Championship, the Thunderhawks, competing in Group 2, earned the District title at West Chester with 34 points. 

Their latest triumph complements victories from earlier in the season at the OHSAA Opener, their home invite, Trinity/Valkyrie, the Firebird Invitational and others. In fact, every time Lakota East has sent out their 'A' line-up, they've found themselves on top of the standings. 

The District performance was a true team effort. A 19:01 average clocking, a 49 second 1-5 split and all scorers crossing the line inside the top 13 indicate that big things are ahead for the squad at OHSAA Region Troy this coming weekend.

The scoring group consisted of: Kelsi Harris / junior, Carly Spletzer / junior, Paxton Oberhaus / junior, Danielle Horter / senior and Hailey Wilson / senior.
