Mega Lutz earned a top ten finish Saturday at the Ric Sayre Invitational to help JCU repeat as champion
Five runners in the top 11 propelled the John Carroll women's cross country team to a successful defense of its title at the 2009 Ric Sayre Invitational, held Saturday in North Canton, Ohio.
The Blue Streaks tallied 28 points to finish well ahead of the College of Wooster (65) and Robert Wesleyan (86).

Ashley Aberl (Toledo, OH, Notre Dame) was once again the top Blue Streak finisher, as she placed second overall with a time of 18:57.
Tricia Doherty (Chicago, IL, Marist) was not far behind in third with a mark of 19:15.
Emily Tillmaand (Xenia, OH, Xenia) gave John Carroll three runners in the top five by crossing the line in 19:21.
Megan Lutz (Oil City, PA, Venango Christian) was 10th in 19:51 and
Kelly Grieve (Toledo, OH, Sylvania Southview) was 11th in 19:53 to round out the scoring for John Carroll.
