Year-after-year, 4x800 teams from Ohio tend to be among the best in the country and we suspect that as the 2020 season unfolds this year will prove to be no exception.
Club-house leaders at this point are Gahanna Lincoln on the boy's side (ranked 33rd nationally at 8:05.66) and Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary for the girls (9:46.82 for 67th in America).
As time moves on and with big invites approaching, the state's best relay teams are likely to move up those national leaderboards, but what remains to be seen is who'll be leading our charge.
For girls, the Akron-based group are joined by Thomas Worthington and Kenston as teams who've dipped under the elusive 10 minute mark, with Perrysburg and perennial distance relay power, Hilliard Davidson residing just over that number.
