All Eyes On The Pole Vault Pit

The pole vault pit will be on fire this weekend on the boys and girls side.
In the boys event, of the 12 athletes currently over 15-0 this indoor season, 4 of them will be in attendance this Saturday. Led by 15-6 men Iain McCormick and Jimmy Rhoads, as well as Norwalk's Jake Sommers, among others, the field will continue to showcase Ohio's incredible talent in the event as the top 12 entries have cleared 13-0. Ohio's state leader in the event and the nation's top outdoor returner Dalton Shepler is entered, but will be competing at the Millrose Games in New York.
On the girls side, five girls enter with marks over 11-0. Dublin Coffman's Karlee North cleared 12-4 at last weekend's OSU Qualifier and sits at No. 3 in Ohio. She's followed by Grove City Christian's Morgan Iverson (11-9), Lebanon's Shaelynn Hegarty (11-6), Westerville South's Brooke Holloway (11-6), and Taylor Hill entering at 11-0.
