Meet Coverage - 


Boys 800 Section 2 ~ 

Bay's Ivan Slyepkan mounted a late charge to earn the 800m victory. The current Ohio State Buckeye overtook Strongsville's Jack Mott during the final stretch to claim the win in 2:02.81. 


Boys 1600 Section 2 ~ 

It was all A.J. Haffa in the 1600m contest, as the former Painesville-Riverside representative went 4:34.49 for a 5 second cushion over the host school's Jacob Nasr, who recorded a time of 4:39.13. 


Girls 800 Section 2 ~ 

Magnificat senior, Lindsay Bush authored a 2:22.06 winning effort, outlasting 2nd and 3rd place finishers, Mia Mlynek and Sami Shaffer, respectively. Beaumont's Mlynek produced a 2:25.25 showing for the runner-up spot with Wadsworth's Shaffer trailing narrowly behind in 3rd due to a 2:26.62 clocking. 


Girls 1600 Section 2 ~ 

The aforementioned Mia Mlynek made sure she left Avon Lake with a victory in hand. She captured the 1600m 'W' in 5:28.35.
