CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets remain tied with Biola (Calif.) in the latest NAIA women's cross country rankings, but the duo dropped two spots to #4 in the country.
Cedarville is coming off a second-place finish in its own invitational. The Jackets totaled 618 points in the poll. Next on the docket is the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championship on Oct. 2.
Defending national champion Azusa Pacific (Calif.) is #1 with 20-of-24 first-place votes. Cal State-San Marcos earned four first-place votes at #2 while Simon Fraser (B.C.) is #3.
Two other American Mideast Conference schools were recognized. Malone is #7 and Shawnee State received votes.
