NAIA places Lady Jackets 5th

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville will head into the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championship as the #5 team in the country as rated in the NAIA women's cross country poll.

The Lady Jackets, the defending All-Ohio champions, accumulated 637 points. They had been tied with Biola (Calif.) in each of the previous two weeks at #2 and then #4.

Defending national champion Azusa Pacific (Calif.) is the repeat #1 squad. They are followed by California State-San Marcos, Simon Fraser (B.C.), and Biola to complete the top five along with CU.

American Mideast Conference member Malone remains in the #7 spot. Shawnee State continues to receive votes.
