Senior Justin Welch of Eastwood (Pemberville, OH) 
has chosen to continue his education and track and field career at the University of Georgia under the tutelage of throws coach Don Babbitt, a very accopmlished and highly respected throws coach.
Welch is the top throwing recruit in Ohio and nation for the class of 2010. Welch has a top 10 mark nationally in all four events that he competes. Welch is the top returning thrower in the nation for the discus (198-6), second nationally in both the hammer (232-6) and the 25# weight throw (76-1) (both of which are the top returning Ohio marks), and in the shot put (61-1.75) Welch returns the eighth best throw nationally and fourth best throw in Ohio.
