We're flashing back to earlier this month at the Midsummer Nights Distance Open, where Maddie Russin and Kaden Mendenhall captured the 800 race victories.
Russin, a Hoosiers commit and member of The 800 Project, traversed 2-laps of the track in a new personal best time of 2:07.86, while Mendenhall, an Ashland grad, clocked 1:58.17 to outlast a group of four who broke two minutes.
