The 2020 AAU Junior Olympic Games concluded on Saturday. Earlier in the week, the quartet of recent graduates from Madeira High School took a decisive win in the 4x800 relay for the 17-18 Division.
Representing the Madeira Distance Project, Ben Ramos, Ben Cunningham, Diego Arredondo and Dylan Whitson recorded a time of 8:04.42 to out pace their closest competition by 44 seconds.
In July, the team went 7:56.75 at the Summer Finale Distance Open in Marion, Indiana to establish a Madeira school record.
