NEW ORLEANS - The University of Toledo women's cross country team remained fourth in the latest Great Lakes Region poll, released today by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The Rockets jumped to fourth last week, which matched the highest ranking in program history. The top-three teams remain unchanged this week, as Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame continue to hold those spots.

Toledo, running with its "B" team on Saturday, finished 10th out of 34 schools at the Lakefront Invitational in Chicago. The Rockets have this week off and will run Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Pre-NCAA Invitational in Terre Haute, IN.
