Lady Jackets inch up to #7

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville moved up one position to #7 in the fifth NAIA Women's Cross Country Top 25 Coaches' Poll of the 2009 campaign.

The Lady Jackets totaled 548 points in this week's rating. Their last effort was a second-place finish out of 22 schools at the DePauw/Rose-Hulman Invitational.

Unanimous #1 Azusa Pacific (Calif.) has 684 points. They are followed by California State-San Marcos, Biola (Calif.), Simon Fraser (B.C.), and Malone in the top five.

Cedarville returns to action on Oct. 24 at the Aquinas (Mich.) Invitational.
