SPIRE Showcase Meet Manager Update On Spectator Policy

NO SPECTATORS will be allowed at the 2021 SPIRE SHOWCASE

Unfortunately we lost our latest appeal to the health department. We ask you to PLEASE respect this decision and not jeopardize Spire's ability to host more events for student-athletes in the future.

We know this NO SPECTATOR policy is hard to swallow, but what would be harder to swallow is not having any place for our youth to participate in the sports they love.  Covid-19 has changed the environment of sport but we cannot let it defeat us.  Thank you for supporting us in this quest.

1. PLEASE remember to ENTER the building through the SOUTH ENTRANCE and go through the Health Screening Area.  To expedite your entry, please have your Covid Waiver completed in advance on your phone.  The QR form can be found in the Participant Guide.

2. SPIRE will provide all Starting Blocks.  We cannot allow other blocks because we cannot prove they have been sanitized.

3. Absolutely NO CAMPS on the infield.  The infield is to remain clear at all times except for athletes in the Shot Put and Weight events.

4. Please restrict all warm-ups to the hallways and the corners of the track, and during the 60 and 60h, the backstretch can be used.

5.PLEASE WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES.  Masks MUST be worn at all times except while in competition.  This is especially true in all public areas such as hallways, the stands, bathrooms etc.  Athletes need to also wear them during warm-ups.  Again, we thank you for following protocol so we can remain open.

Sincerely,

Charlie Powell
