Mideast Cross Country Championships Set For November 20th

(Lead pack at the 2018 Mideast Cross Country Championships

Following a 1-year hiatus, due to Covid-19 considerations, the OATCCC-sponsored Mideast Cross Country Championships will make its highly anticipated return on Saturday, November 20th at Indian Riffle Park in Kettering.

Open to senior-class runners only who qualify for the OHSAA State Championships, the Mideast team has 12 roster spots available per gender. The meet will provide one last opportunity for members of the 2022 graduating class to toe the line for high school XC competition. And said competition should be fierce with all-star teams from Illinois, Indiana and Michigan all scheduled to be in attendance.

Some of the perks that go along with donning Ohio's colors, aside from the honor of repping the state, are a uniform, meals and accommodations, all of which will be taken care of by the OATCCC.

The head coaches are Matt Paxton / Unioto (men's team) and Anjanette Whitman / Lutheran West (women's team). If you have any questions, they invite you to reach out to them directly.
