Michaela McGill took the overall win at Region 11 on Saturday at Pickerington North and led her Mount Gilead team to a state meet berth with their 5th place showing.
Battling a tough Division III field and a slick, muddy course, McGill prevailed with a 20:00.2 effort. Her squad's 157 tally was low enough to ensure inclusion at the end-of-season showcase.
