Weekend Round-Up: Nationals In Philly, Greensboro, Eugene

Boys 800m Championship: Brian Bates, Notre Dame Cathedral Latin, placed 20th overall in 1:53.95.

Girls 800m Championship: Morgan Monesmith, Hathaway Brown, extended her stay in the Pacific Northwest by racing the 800 following her appearance in the same event earlier in the week at Brooks PR. At NSAF, the Princeton signee went 2:06.54 for fourth overall. 

Girls Pole Vault Championship: Anjali Mead, representing SPIRE Academy, cleared a height of 3.87 meters to place in a tie for the No. 9 spot. 

Girls 400m Freshman Division: Westerville Central's Alyvia Mentlow ran under the 1-minute standard (59.37) to come in 7th overall within the frosh grouping. 

Boys Decathlon Competition: Anchored by runner-up placements in the 100 (11.30) and long jump (6.69 meters), Olin Frank, Walsh Jesuit, secured 6th overall in the decathlon with 6320 points. 

Boys 1 Mile Emerging Elite: Alex Deroussel, running on behalf of SPIRE Academy, clocked 4:21.78 over the full imperial mile distance to take 18th place. 

Girls Shot Put Championship: Norton's Morgan Hallett mixed it up with the shot putters in the meet's top division and placed 15th with a series best throw of 12.44 meters. 

Boys Shot Put Championship: Charles Pawlosky, Lakeview, took the 14th out of 21 competitors with his meet best throw of 17.14m. 

Boys 110m Hurdles Championship: Damon Frabotta (St. Ignatius) went 14.18 for 5th overall in the finals. He set himself up with a 14.32 qualifying effort in the preliminary round.
