Register for Akinosun Elite Invitational

With the on-set of cross country regional and national meets on the immediate horizon, upcoming soon after will be the start of our indoor track and field season. 

One of the Midwest Region's most competitive opportunities for 2023 will go down in the Windy City that is Chicago, Illinois on Sunday, January 15th. 

The registration period launches soon for the 2023 Morolake Akinosun Elite Invitational.

Hosted at the state-of-the-art Gately Track and Field facility (soon to re-branded as the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track and Field Center). 

Registration officially opens on Monday, November 14th and not only are Ohio athletes eligible, they have been specifically welcomed by meet manager Morolake Akinosun. 

Akinosun, an Olympic Gold Medalist and World Champion sprinter currently represents Team USA and adidas, professionally, yet she still finds time to prioritize giving back to her hometown and to the grassroots levels of the sport. 

* Note: 2023 Morolake Akinosun Elite Invitational is an approved OATCCC Indoor State Championships qualifying meet *

* This meet also serves as a great opportunity for competitors from Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky and West Virginia *

* There will be full MileSplit coverage for the meet, which will include photos, interviews and a live-stream broadcast conducted by Illinois site editor Tony Jones *
