With the 2022/23 indoor track and field season kicking off the past few weeks, "Michigan Indoor Track Series," also known as, "MITS," has since started around the state, with meets being held at Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) and Grand Valley State University (GVSU) early this month.
This past weekend, LAB TC hosted the first of many with LAB - MITS #1, to kick off their portion of the series.
The facility itself is beautiful, housing a uniquely colored 300-meter track that has seen some of the best in the Midwest run, throw, and jump on it. Along with that, there have been occasions when meets hosted here have contested events not seen in many states, such as the 300m Dash and 600m Run, both of which were ran this previous Saturday.
...and it certainly did not disappoint, as several ranked performances were set, both at the state and national level.
