OATCCC Division II/III: Program and Preview

Last year's Girls' 60m Hurdle Finals, where Juliette Laracuente-Huebner took second place in the event.

Soaring to new heights and distance, we could possibly see a four-for-four in state title wins from the University of Cincinatti signee and Marshall Highland's one and only, Juliette Laracuente-Huebner.

Based off of this moment and the performance list, she seems to be untouchable as the top seed in all four of her events.

60m Hurdles: 8.77 // OH #4
Long Jump: 20-03.75 // OH #1, US #4 - OH #2 All-Time
Triple Jump: 41-08.50 // OH #1, US #5 - State Record
High Jump: 5-09.00 // OH #1, US #3 - Tied for OH #4 All-Time between 4 others.

Not just that, based off of generated scenarios from MileSplit's "Virtual Meets," we could potentially see Juliette win the team title by herself!

Heading on over to Girls' 800m Run, this one seems like it's going to be a very interesting race between Wayne Trace's Sydnee Sinn, Gilmour Academy's Amy Weybrecht, and Norwayne's Jaylee Wingate, who are all separated 1-2-3 by less than a second within each other.

Sydnee Sinn - 2:12.39 - OH #1
Amy Weybrecht - 2:12.94 - OH #2
Jaylee Wingate - 2:13.12 - OH #3

Wingate (4:53.16) and Weybrecht (5:00.72) will also be doubling back from the 1600m Run, joined by Waynesville's Samantha Erbach, who is within striking distance to compete for the state title with her 5:00.60 seed time in that event.

Jaylee Wingate - 4:53.16 - OH #2
Samantha Erbach - 5:00.60 - OH #6
Amy Weybrecht - 5:00.72 - OH #7

The Plains Athens' Freshman Sophia Szolosi is currently the top seed in the 3200m Run by a fair margin with a 10:48.73, which is also the freshman record for this event indoors in Ohio, and currently the top time in the US for freshmen girls.

This also currently puts her #4 on the OH All-Times List for Division 2/3, not too far from Stephanie Morgan's record of 10:40.60 from 2008.

Heading over to the Boy's 400m Dash, by the looks of things, this race could be decided by a single lean, as the current Top-2 seed times are separated by .01 seconds, Evan Hudson with 49.36, and Mason Louis with 49.37, which are currently OH #5 and OH #6 in the event.

Evan Hudson - 49.36 - OH #5
Mason Louis - 49.37 - OH #6

Hudson is also slated to compete in the Long Jump and 200m Dash.

Handing things off to the relays, it seems that we are in for a treat on Friday, based off of the performance list, two races may have very tight races and finishes.

Starting with the 4x800m Relay, Marlington and Shelby are currently the top seeds at the moment, just separated by less than two seconds.

Marlington - 8:06.18 - OH #5
Shelby - 8:08.12 - OH #7

Similar to the Boy's 400m Dash, the Girl's 4x200m Relay, with Cleveland Heights and Gilmour Academy as top seeds, is separated by mere hundredths of a second.

Cleveland Heights - 1:47.73
Gilmour Academy - 1:47.77

Onto the Boy's 4x200m Relay, Glenville are currently the top seed at this moment, with an OH #2, and US #10 performance of 1:28.49.

This time is also currently the Division 2/3 record in the event and sits at OH #8 All-Time.

Moving on into the throwing rings, Norwayne's Morlock siblings (Allison, Dillon, Brandt), are all set to compete across the throwing events, with Dillon currently in contention to sweep the throwing events, as he is seeded 1st in both Shot Put and Weight Throw.

Dillon Morlock
Shot Put - 60-8.5 - OH #1 - US #11
Weight Throw - 71-2 - OH #2 - US #7
