Alexa Fortman

Alexa Fortman has been racking up victories and shown her range ever since she set foot in high school across a variety of distances, such as the 5k during cross country, and track events from the 60m Dash to the 1600m on the oval.

The Ottawa-Glandorf senior and Belmont University commit has made quite a name for herself from the past (almost) 4 years, recently taking down the OATCCC DII/III Division record a few weeks ago at the indoor state meet in the 800 with a mark of 2:11.15.

This performance was quite a jump for her season opener of 2:20.99 at the Univ. of Findlay Dave's Running High School Series #1 back in early December.

Along with that, she set personal bests in the 400m Dash (59.54) and 1600m Run (5:03.98) in the process, with the 1600m Run being an OH #11 performance.

Given how consistent she is with putting up solid marks and high places, I would not be surprised if she makes an even bigger statement this outdoor season and finds her way into the All-Times list across all divisions.
