AUSTINTOWN, Ohio — The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) office released its players of the week Monday (Jan. 18) afternoon, and Marietta College sophomore Kim Keesler (Chagrin Falls, Chagrin Falls) was named the OAC's Field Athlete of the Week.

Keesler, who already held Marietta's Pole Vault record after clearing 3.35m (10-11.75) a year ago, eclipsed that mark with a successful vault of 3.36m (11-00.25) at the Marietta Open #1. The performance earned her first place on Saturday. Keesler went on to place third in the long jump with a top mark of 4.76m (15-07.50).

The Pioneers return to action on Saturday (Jan. 23) afternoon when they host the Marietta Open #2, beginning at 11 a.m.
