BLOOMINGTON, IN - The University of Toledo track team
wrapped up a successful opening day at the Indiana Relays with several top
finishes Friday in Bloomington, IN.
Julie Snyder paced the team as she tied for second in the
high jump (5-04.25) and finished fifth in the long jump in 17-06.00. Snyder,
along with Alexandra Afloari, also qualified for Saturday's finals in the 60
meter hurdles.
Amanda Kaverman took fourth in the 200 meter dash in 24.79,
while Kristal Studer placed sixth in the 3000 meter run (10:20.37) to round out
the top finishers for Toledo.
The Rockets return to action with the second day of the
Relays tomorrow, while some of the team will also be competing at Bowling Green's
Tom Wright Classic on Saturday as well.
