Making a statement out of the gate in his high school career, Jamier Averette-Brown continues to impress in the early portion of the 2024 indoor track campaign.

The freshmen from Wayne has kept a robust schedule with four meets contested already: Findlay, Mount Vernon, Wittenberg and Midwest High Performance and within those meets he's raced a total of a dozen times, individually.

To go along with those efforts, he's a fixture on the Warriors' formidable relay squads.

Finishing no lower than 3rd in any individual contest, Averette-Brown has collected five finals wins and owns the state's top 60m time overall (6.89) and is second in the 200 (21.87).

Among members of the 2027 grad class, he's stationed at the top of the national leaderboard in both events.

Watch Averette-Brown's 60m prelims win at Wittenberg - following his finals showing, he now has five sub 7-second times on his resume this season.

Also, review additional context with his inclusion on the national 'Future Stars' report, where he was featured by MileSplit USA intern Maxx Bradley.
