Brothers

Talk about a sibling duo, especially that these two did not just take the runner-up spot on the team score, but contributed to the points tally just from their two events: the Shot Put and Weight Throw.
Dillon Morlock (Norwayne 2024) and Brandt Morlock (Norwayne 2025) put on a clinic on the infield Saturday, launching Norwayne into the runner-up spot together with an astounding 33 points, just 5 points right behind Marlington, who scored 38 to take the team title. Between these two, they are currently sharing the Top-2 spots on the Ohio rankings with the Weight Throw, and the OH #1 and OH #5 spot for Shot Put.
The older brother, who signed to compete for Michigan State University next fall, Dillon Morlock, has been making quite the noise all winter long, going undefeated in the Shot Put, almost going undefeated in the Weight Throw, and a state record to top it off as well, which was set in early February at Tiffin U. - High School Open #3, the same meet he set a Weight Throw personal best of 74-4. He ended up pulling off the double crown last Saturday.
Still a year to go before he graduates, Brandt Morlock (Norwayne 2025), has been showing out on the infield as well, along with proving his consistency as well in both events, setting a personal best in the Shot Put and almost setting a new personal best in the Weight Throw at the state championships last Saturday. To top it off, at each of the meets the Morlock brothers have gone to, in most cases, they were taking the Top-2 spots for their events.
Despite Dillon graduating this spring, this will not be the last we see of the Morlock name, as Brandt will be returning next year as a senior to set the marks farther and farther.
