How did PA Relay Teams Fair at Nike/NB Indoor Nationals?

12 relay teams earned All-American honors last weekend at the Nike and New Balance Indoor National Championships. Imhotep Institute Charter's boys led the charge, winning the Championship 4x400m Relay and finishing 5th in the Championship 4x200m Relay at Nike Indoor Nationals.

The Boys

Central Bucks West (CB West)  and Council Rock North both made the podium in the Championship 4x800m at New Balance. 

The CB West boys ran a new PA No. 1 and season best of 7:47.36 in the 5th heat to take home 3rd. The team's splits were 1:59.01, 1:57.29, 1:57.61, and 1:53.46. 

Meanwhile, the Council Rock North boys found their way to an 8th-place finish from the 4th heat. The team split 1:59.22, 1:59.97, 2:01.00, and 1:57.96.

Westfield HS in New Jersey won the relay in 7:46.46.

Coatesville earned themselves 5th place by running a season-best 3:19.62 to win the 11th heat of the Championship 4x400m.

The splits were 50.38, 51.13, 49.28, and 48.85.

The Bullis School (MD) won with a new national record of 3:11.87.

Ridley and Lower Merion both had All-American finishes in the Championship Distance Medley Relay (DMR). 

Ridley placed 6th after winning the second heat in 10:15.75. The team's splits were 3:11.41 for the 1200m, 51.79 for the 400m, 1:56.06 for the 800m, and 4:16.50 for the 1600m.

Lower Merion won the first heat in 10:21.08, earning the team eighth-place honors. They went 3:12.15 for the 1200m, 51.85 for the 400m, 1:57.54 for the 800m, and 4:19.55 for the 1600m. 

Connecticut's Ridgefield High School took the win in 10:01.13.
