While things have been ramping up with the conclusion of the district competitions along with the anticipation of regional championships set to take place this week to determine who will find their spot in Dayton at the OHSAA Outdoor Track and Field State Championships, we decided to switch things up a bit and steer towards the NCAA season with the upcoming national qualifying competitions set to take place this week as well.
Last week, it was announced that Juliette Laracuente-Huebner, a 2023 graduate of Marengo Highland and now freshman at the University of Cincinnati, had punched her ticket to the NCAA Division I Championships in June in the Heptathlon.
