AUSTINTOWN, Ohio — The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) office released its players of the week Monday (Feb. 8) afternoon, and Marietta College sophomore Ashley Bault (Atwater, Waterloo) was named the OAC's Field Athlete of the Week.

Bault improved upon her own school record in the Long Jump at Friday (Feb. 5) night's Marietta Open Alumni Meet. She finished third with a mark of 5.33m, which moved her up the list of athletes that have met the OAC's A Qualifying Standard in the event. Bault then captured runner-up honors in the Triple Jump with a leap of 10.90m (35-09.25). The jumps specialist, who also owns the school record in the Triple Jump, has now met the OAC's A Qualifying Standard in the Long Jump, Triple Jump and High Jump.

Marietta College will host the 2010 OAC Indoor Championship Feb. 26-27 inside the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center.

Marietta is back in action on Saturday (Feb. 13) when the Pioneers participate in the Division III All-Ohio Indoor Championship, hosted by Otterbein College.
