Ohio Future Stars: Dominic Lopez

For this week's edition of Ohio Future Stars, we took a look at an athlete who was the fourth place finisher, highest place finisher from his school, and the top underclassman at the GWOC Cross Country Championships last Saturday.

Dominic Lopez (Northmont 2027)

So far, this entire season, the Northmont sophomore has been steadily making his way up the podium and rankings, finishing in the Top-10 in every competition he has contested so far this fall, notching two victories at his season opener (Northmont Invitational - 16:31.20) and early September in Brookville (Brookville CC Invitational - 16:16.20).

Some notables when comparing his freshman year performances with his current performances this year as well, he has raced in almost the exact same meets he did last year, improving both placement wise and (mostly) performance wise.
