The Falcons Prepare to Compete at the All-Ohio Championships This Weekend
Track And Field Hosts All-Ohio Championships On Friday And Saturday

After a week's hiatus, the Bowling Green State University track and field team will resume their 2010 indoor season this weekend by hosting the All-Ohio Championships.
The two-day meet, which will see competitions for both men's and women's teams from across the state, will be held at the Perry Field House on the BGSU campus on Friday, February 12 and Saturday, February 13.
In all, fourteen teams from Ohio will be competing this weekend. Two competitors from the MAC, Miami (Ohio) and Ohio University, will see action this weekend. Other foes for BGSU are Ashland, Central State, Findlay, Lake Erie College, Malone, Notre Dame College, Rio Grande and Xavier. Dayton will be sending only a men's team, while both Ursuline and Wright State will be sending only women's teams.
This event will have team scoring, and a team will receive points if a member finishes in the top eight of an event. Teams are allowed three individuals or one relay team per event. Teams receive ten points for a first place finish, eight for second place and six for third place. Points go down by one for each place from fourth to eighth, with eighth place getting one point.
Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for youth (18 or under), $2 for college students with a current school ID, and free for BGSU students with a current BGSU ID.
At last year's All-Ohio Championships, the Falcons placed third out of 12 teams.
The schedule of events follows and includes Falcon participants in each event. Times for each event are also included; however, a rolling time schedule may be used if necessary.
Meet results and a full recap will be posted shortly after the conclusion of events on each day of the meet.
